Wow I can’t believe the next big holiday is the KH3 release date. Amazing.
All I want these days is to hike through a mossy forest filled with heavy fog and get lost for a while.

having shows with a diverse cast of characters is cool and appreciated but at what point do you stop and look at all the characters of color you have huddled around your white protagonist and think hmmmm maybe sumn about this is a lil off

Yu Hong (Chinese, b. 1966), Cloud Layer, 2014. Acrylic on canvas, 180 x 200 cm.

I was rewatching the “What’s Up, Danger?” clip from Spiderverse on YouTube and came across this comment. For some reason it REALLY spoke to me - hit me hard. Like. Damn. It really emphasizes how real this scene is. Miles is just learning his powers, he doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing. He’s terrified, yet… He’s really taking a leap of faith to save all he knows and keep a promise. I love it. It just makes this scene even more amazing to me, makes me appreciate it so much more. Because he’s not just a superhero who learned how to be awesome and badass overnight. He’s a kid who’s terrified, so terrified he can’t even control his own powers, but musters up the strength to jump off a fucking skyscraper.
